Gifts that Give Back this Holiday Season

Gifts that Give Back this Holiday Season

Giving during the holiday season is something we’re passionate about.  Holiday Cards and gift baskets are wonderful to receive and give but sometimes giving to those in need can be more rewarding.  Are you looking to giving something a bit more meaningful this year?  Try giving the holiday gift that gives back!  From cards, to donations to just simple gift-giving, there are many options out there that can help others thrive.  Take a look a these:

1.  JustGive.org

If you’re looking for a way to give and can’t afford the time, check out JustGive.org; an organization designed for online gift giving.  The wonderful online experience focuses making the charitable donation process easier for people and their busy lifestyle.  If you’re interested, check out their “Help Causes That Need It Most” section where individuals and companies can help those that need it the most this winter.

2.  Rage Against the Minivan

Gifts that Give Back 2013 Rage Against the Minivan, provides an annual charitable giving guide that I’ll think our readers will enjoy.  Visit Christmas Gift Guide: Gifts That Give Back 2013.  According to their website, this is their fourth year of featuring this list of “some old favorites on this list as well as some new finds, but all of these companies are making a big impact in the world.”

NY Daily News List

The Huffington Post, Mashable and the NY Daily News also featured posts with gift back programs.  Click their links and check them out.

In the past, we’ve supported organizations like Wings; a shelter for battered women as well as the March of Dimes.  This year we’re focused on giving back, using organizations like the ones mentioned.  Do you have a special way you like to give during the holidays?  We’d love to hear from you.  Email us or comment on the post.

Happy Gift Giving!
