The Order Entry Specialist is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with customers on behalf of the company by ensuring that all customer requirements and needs are completely met. As the Order Entry Specialist, you must convey to the customer a sense of expertise in our products and solutions. The Order Entry Specialist is also responsible for communicating customer requirements to other teams/departments, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

We are a supplier located in Bartlett, IL that has been in business for just under 50 years and is looking to expand our team. We specialize in numerous technological systems for our clients throughout the Midwest.
Essential job functions of the Order Entry Specialist:
- Assist the sales team by providing excellent client service in all areas including, but not limited to, order entry, order status requests, product inquiries, account inquiries
- Create and maintain a quality relationship with clients while working with internal sales staff and external clients to ensure the ability to service needs in a timely manner
- Take calls and emails from prospects/clients and process inquiries/orders in a timely manner
- Prepare formal quotes
- Review invoices for accuracy: correct billing, shipping addresses, proper documents, etc.
- Work within a team environment where passion and dedication to our clients is priority
- Other duties as requested
Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required
- 6 months – 2 years of experience in a similar administrative role preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong communicator with positive and professional demeanor
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks, activities, and projects for timely completion
- Fast learner with initiative
- High degree of attention to detail
