The Marketing Specialist is responsible for assisting in both the execution and strategic planning for all marketing activities required to achieve the organization’s goals related to brand growth, health, engagement, and impact. This includes working alongside the team to develop all marketing assets such as creative design, event design, website, social media, email, video, and copywriting.

Our Marketing Specialist is expected to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to develop compelling content, support product growth and development, capture and use data to better understand the customer journey to execute a plan that fosters high-quality engagement at all levels of the organization, and plan and execute company-wide internal and external events.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge in the project management and creative design space, an innovative spirit with technology, an understanding of metrics and valuation of digital assets, and a strong ability to multitask. A successful applicant will demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and the ability to work creatively and proactively while collaborating in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling marketing campaigns and initiatives that align with business objectives and target audience preferences.
  • Assist in the coordination and planning of all trade shows and other corporate events, attending when possible to help with setup, teardown, and overall event operations.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of the company’s website, ensuring it effectively communicates the brand message and offers a seamless user experience.
  • Manage and enhance the company’s social media presence, including content creation, community engagement, and performance tracking.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify opportunities for differentiation and optimization of marketing communications strategies.
  • Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to inform messaging, positioning, and targeting strategies.
  • All other duties and projects assigned related to marketing.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism or related is strongly preferred; high school diploma is required
  • 6 months+ of experience in a diversified marketing role, or strong project management based role
  • Trade show and event planning experience is a big plus
  • Adobe Creative experience is a plus
  • Organized, strategic thinker with the ability to juggle competing tasks and deadlines
