A leading company in innovation, design, and manufacturing with a national presence is seeking an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to join our team at our US headquarters in Wheeling, IL. This role is a key part of our office operations, providing administrative and HR support while serving as the first point of contact for visitors and employees.

Position Summary
The Administrative Assistant/Receptionist will be responsible for managing front desk operations, assisting with HR functions, and supporting general office administration. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct calls using a multi-line phone system and monitor email inquiries.
  • Greet and assist visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Support the HR department in planning and coordinating office-wide events, including Employee Appreciation Day, company outings, and team-building activities.
  • Maintain office supplies by ordering and restocking as needed.
  • Update and maintain employee files and databases using ADP Workforce Now.
  • Assist various departments with administrative tasks such as document management and record-keeping.
  • Provide daily support to employees, management, and customers as needed.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous office, administrative, or customer service experience preferred (internships or retail experience will be considered).
  • Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other Windows-based programs.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
